Join us at the next Innovative Communities Lunch & Learn on May 3 and hear our presenter Nan Ellin, Dean of the College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs (CAPPA) at the University of Texas at Arlington, present on the Trinity Innovation Corridor for North Texas. The event is free of charge, but all attendees must be current members. Please register by Wednesday, April 26.

 

About the speaker:

Nan Ellin is Dean of the College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs (CAPPA) at the University of Texas at Arlington. Ellin is a co-creator of vital and vibrant places. Places where buildings harmonize with nature and people. Places where economies thrive along with communities, arts and culture. Places that celebrate and support life on every level. Ellin spearheaded canal scape in the Phoenix region, the 9 Line in Salt Lake City, and the Trinity Innovation District for North Texas. She holds a PhD in Urban Design from Columbia University and her books include Good Urbanism, Postmodern Urbanism, Architecture of Fear, Integral Urbanism, and Phoenix: 21st-Century City. Ellin’s writings have been translated into 13 languages.
