Category: Task Force Meeting

The Urban Design Task Force Presents:
A Watershed Opportunity for Change: A Five Mile Creek Greenbelt Master Plan

The Five Mile Creek Greenbelt Master Plan is the result of an innovative public-private partnership between the City of Dallas, The Trust for Public Land and TBG Partners with the support of private donors and citizens of Southern Dallas.

The plan creates an interconnected series of trails, parks and green spaces following the main branch and tributaries of Five Mile Creek in southern Dallas and exemplifies community-focused urban renewal trough an enhanced open space network connecting anchor neighborhoods and institutions.

Please join us for an overview presentation of the 2019 GDPC Urban Design Award winner. We will discuss the opportunities, challenges and lessons learned from this and other relevant projects by the project authors, TBG Partners represented by Ann Podeszwa and Jodi House, in collaboration with Molly Plumber and Robert Kent with the Trust for Public Land.
