WHAT: GDPC UDTF 2019 Kickoff Meeting

At this meeting, we will establish our shared goals and priorities for 2019. It is important that we set our 2019 agenda so please come with ideas in mind.  A few events and activities we have tentatively outlined include:

• Continue our engagement with the Trinity Heights / Vermont Village neighborhood
• Host a walking tour of a Dallas neighborhood that features strong urban design
• Author a position statement on an urban design-related issue
• Co-host a conference topic / speaker at a local event
• Urban Design happy hour / networking / mentoring event

In addition to above, this will be a chance for introductions and to get to know one another.  We would like to come away from this meeting with a steering committee to help guide Task Force events and activities this year. This team will provide important thought leadership for the UDTF’s goals and priorities. If you would like to be a part of this group, please reply to either of us directly.
