Join us - Tour the West End Square, Dallas’ newest Urban park, which opened to the public on March 26, 2021. Formerly a surface parking lot, the site has been transformed into the only neighborhood park in the West End Historic District.

Guided Tour - You will hear from Amy Meadows, who previously served for 11 years as the Vice President and Executive Director of The Belo Foundation, President and CEO of Parks for Downtown Dallas. She will share some of the stories behind the four new urban parks, notably West End Square, which replaced a parking lot with a vibrant public green space serving the West End community. Parks for Downtown Dallas is a nonprofit foundation working collaboratively with the City of Dallas to build four new significant parks in the core of Downtown. GDPC will safely provide coffee, water and light breakfast items from Ellen’s, which resides adjacent to the West End Square.  Please resource the West End Square fact sheet here.  Bring it along with you. The fact sheets contain information about West End Square and will provide an overview of the park.  For your safety and the safety of others, please wear a mask.
