Come join us to celebrate the essence of what we have all been missing in lockdown. Downtown Dallas’ Pacific Plaza, formerly a surface parking lot, was revitalized into a 3.74 acre urban neighborhood park in October 2019.

Chuck McDaniel of SWA, the park’s designer, and Jim Shipley of Beck, the park’s builder, will educate us on Pacific Plaza, the design team’s lessons learned, and its role as a placemaker in Dallas.

We will convene at the pavilion at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 8th (not to be confused with another GDPC event in Reverchon Park on May 1st) weather permitting. Following this we will walk past the AdEx and enjoy the best that Downtown has to offer.

It is time to enjoy the rewards of all the hard work that went into this remarkable transformation.
